The International Collaboration Department provides the following services:
- Promotes international collaboration, projects, and research
- Supports the globalization projects and activities held at the Graduate School, faculties, and affiliated schools
- Gives advice and make recommendations when concluding or renewing agreements
- Supports globalization of local communities
- International public relations
- Reinforces the global hub functions necessary to support international universities/ colleges networks for teacher training (in collaboration with the R&D Department)
- Provides academic support for Japanese learners in local communities (open lectures)
- Collaborates with institutions overseas and conducts joint projects on education (interactive academic and student exchanges)
- Collaborates with international institutions to support international contribution activities
