The International Student Education Department is committed to the following goals for international students at our university:　

1. Education and research on Japanese language, Japanese affairs, and Japanese culture
2. Provides academic enhancement for international students
3. Facilitates acceptance of international students
4. Develops acceptance programs
   • Improves the system of accepting international students
   • Accepts short-term visiting students
   • Supports privately-financed undergraduate and postgraduate international students (i.e., international students excluding those under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program and student exchange programs)
   • Intensifies the systematic support for international students to study Japanese and continuously improves the curriculum
   • Jointly develops teacher training programs with partner universities/colleges
